MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- The Moscow Arbitration Court dismissed a lawsuit of Raiffeisenbank, a unit of Austria’s Raiffeisen Bank International, seeking to claim 551 million rubles in losses allegedly caused by excessive prices for SMS mailouts to clients in 2018–2020 from mobile operator MTS, the arbitration cases register said on Monday.
Law firm Orchards partner Alexei Stankevich, representing MTS’ interests at court, said that the plaintiff decreased the claim to 551 million rubles from 615 million rubles.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service found MTS, MegaFon, VimpelCom, and T2 RTK Holding guilty of violation of the competion law in 2019 for offering state-participated banks more profitable terms of SMS mailouts and some private banks went to court.
